Photographs are moments frozen in time. Portraits are a little different - they are special. Portraits are memories of a loved one frozen in time - a memento that becomes a family treasure. Portraits should be crafted with care and given special attention. I believe a portrait should capture the essence of its subject. When you look at a portrait you should see a personality not just a picture. It is my understanding that in some native cultures it is believed that taking a photograph steals the soul of the subject. Basically that's what I do. Well, not steal souls, but capture the nature and character of the subject and turn it into a treasured memory. My portrait session fee is $65.00 and includes an hour at the location of your choice.
