Loading an Avenger with a torpedo. The TBM Avenger (TBF for Grumman) was powered by the Wright R-2600 Twin Cyclone 14 radial engine and could carry one Mark 13 Torpedo, or one 2000 pound bomb, or four 500 pound bombs. This TBM Avenger is on display at the National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg, Texas.
