This elegant elephant sits atop the entrance of what was once the White Elephant Saloon in Fredericksburg, Texas. The two story Saloon was built in 1888 and still stands today. I never know what I will find on the backroads of Texas. This is the second elephant I shot on my photo safari. The first one was in Mason, Texas (see Tuskan Chandelier).
